A few months ago, Huawei introduced us to HarmonyOS , its own operating system for its entire ecosystem, which will compete with Google. The roadmap was still somewhat fuzzy at the time, but today we have more news on this topic. In certain social networks it has already been filtered when and how the implantation will take place on mobile phones with HarmonyOS.

What will be the first phones with HarmonyOS: Phones with HarmonyOS: who will be the first to receive it?

In a first phase, the devices in the house that have the new Kirin 9000 processor will have HarmonyOS  . In these would be the  Huawei Mate 40  and the  Huawei P50 , all of them next to present.

The second phase will cover the models with  Kirin 990 with 5G , among which are the P40 Pro family, Mate 30 Pro and Mate XS. After these, the rest of mobiles with Kirin 990 (4G), Kirin 985 and Kirin 820 would be included.

In a fourth phase, Huawei phones with Kirin 990 and Kirin 980 would be included, such as Mate 20, P30 Pro or Nova 5T.

Finally, the more humble ranges will also be included among the phones with HarmonyOS. They will be those that have  Kirin 810 or Kirin 710 , such as the P Smart or the Lite models.

When will Huawei’s new operating system hit the market?

The biggest doubt now falls on the date of implementation of this operating system to the aforementioned home devices. However, on this subject we have less data on the table. Logic tells us that, if the Huawei Mate 40 could already have it, it will be in its presentation when we can know the arrival date of the first HarmonyOS smartphone and from there the progressive deployment would take place in the rest of its terminals.

In any case, there is still enough fabric to cut and it is expected that it will  be in 2021 when the greatest thickness of this implantation occurs.
