If your goal is to enjoy the adventure of filming, this course is the fundamental access route to the world of the camera and light. You will have  the opportunity to work on the processes, techniques and materials used by the camera crew .

The course in  Photography Direction  will train you to be the professional responsible for the artistic creation of images and the staging of cinematographic, television and audiovisual productions.

Classes are telepresence . In them you can interact with your teacher and your classmates to answer questions and share ideas . You can join them from any device and place with an internet connection. In case you cannot see them live or want to review something of what has been seen in them, the recordings  are uploaded in their entirety to the virtual  learning platform .

We carry out this training with the collaboration of ACLAM Rental , we have filmed the practical videos in their facilities and with their material.

  • Assimilate the mechanisms of audiovisual language and be able to use them to tell stories.
  • Possess the skills and instruments to analyze and assess all kinds of filmic speeches.
  • Know the latest application technologies in the audiovisual sector (lighting, cameras, lenses, etc.) and learn to use them properly.
  • Plan, carry out and supervise the photography direction of an audiovisual production , as well as the organization of the camera team.
  • Have the ability to conceive, design and materialize the light, tonal and visual treatment within the framework of an audiovisual work.
  • Know the different functions that are carried out in the organization chart of the camera team , being aware of the hierarchy and the functions that correspond to each role.
  • Learn to work with the rest of the departments that collaborate in the creation of the audiovisual work, assessing the functions of each one and the importance and relevance of each department.
  • Acquire basic knowledge about the influences of art , especially painting, in the cinema and in the work of the cinematographer.
  • Control the different lighting styles that have been used in the cinematographic trends and soak up the knowledge that these references provide us.
  • Mastering the essential lighting schemes , which will become a solid foundation on which to build other more complex schemes.
  • Differentiate, between professional and semi-professional film cameras , the characteristics of the main models on the market. Knowing how to choose the ideal camera according to the needs of the project.
  • Correctly expose an image and internalize the operation of the shutter , aperture and sensitivity, being aware of what the modification of these parameters entails and how it will affect the captured image.
  • Internalize color theory and its importance when illuminating and treating our images.
  • Grading and correcting color in DaVinci Resolve , the software most used by professionals in the sector.

Practical Face-to-Face Workshops: Photography Direction Course

The course guarantees up to 300 hours of practical face-to-face workshops. A great opportunity to apply your knowledge, add a professional experience to your resume and expand your network of contacts.

Title: Photography Direction Course

At the end of your course at TreintaycincoMM you will obtain the following qualifications :

    • TreintaycincoMM’s own title:   Direction of Photography  (400 hours).
    • Diploma of internships in companies.

In addition, the student will receive the following complementary diplomas :

  • The diploma of the chosen language.
  • Accreditation of the Occupational Risk Prevention course (basic level) (40 h).

You will learn everything you need to be a member of the camera team and you will be able to apply for positions such as:

  • Director of photography.
  • Cameraman.
  • Camera assistant.
  • Camera assistant or focuser.
  • Colorist.

  • Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (independent evaluation) (40 hours).
  • Training in English with preparation for official Cambridge and Oxford exams (12 months) or access to the Tell Me More platform of the chosen language.
