- Be a graduate, architect, engineer or have the corresponding degree title.
- Be in possession of the pedagogical and didactic training referred to in article 100.2 of Organic Law 2/2006.
* This pedagogical training is the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training , known as MUP.
Did you know that if your degree is prior to October 1, 2009, you can be exempt from completing this master’s degree?
Here are all the exemptions :
- Be in possession of the professional title of didactic specialization (TED), the certificate of pedagogical qualification or the certificate of pedagogical aptitude (CAP), before October 1, 2009.
- Be in possession of an official university degree, before October 1, 2009, which qualifies for the exercise of the profession of teacher or a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy or Psychopedagogy, as well as any Bachelor’s degree or other qualification declared equivalent to This includes pedagogical and didactic training. When we speak of “bachelor’s degrees that include this pedagogical and didactic training” we refer to the following:
- Degree in Psychology with the itinerary, the mention or the specialty of:
- Psychology of the education.
- Psychology of social, organizational and educational intervention.
- Evolutionary and educational psychology.
- Degree in Philosophy and Letters (Philosophy and Education Sciences division and Education Sciences section).
- Degree in Philosophy and Education Sciences (Pedagogy section and Education Sciences section, in all its specialties).
- Higher degree in Dance (specialty of Dance Pedagogy).
- Higher degree in Music (Instrument Pedagogy specialty and Basic and General Musical Education Pedagogy specialty).
- Bachelor of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (specialty itinerary of Education).
- Degree in Psychology with the itinerary, the mention or the specialty of:
- Have accredited the completion of 180 credits of Pedagogy or Psychopedagogy before October 1, 2009, in the case of graduates in pedagogy or psychopedagogy with a degree after October 1, 2009.
- Be in possession, before October 1, 2009, of a degree or equivalent qualification that includes pedagogical and didactic training, as established in the eighth transitory provision of Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3. This training may be accredited by a certification issued by the university stating that a minimum of 80 credits of pedagogical and didactic training has been passed between the core and optional subjects.
- Have taught, before September 1, 2009, for a minimum of 12 months, in duly authorized public or private centers of regulated education, in Compulsory Secondary Education or Baccalaureate, Vocational Training or official language schools, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 1834/2008, of November 8.
If you meet one of these exemptions, you do not need the MUP to take the economics professor exams.
