The Google Pixel 3 XL isn’t the company’s only product to be unveiled ahead of time, and the Mountain View-based company is clearly not keeping secrets, as a device has recently come to light. called  Pixel Slate, a smart tablet with Chrome OS, case with keyboard and stylus ,  about which several rumors had been circulating for weeks. Not long ago these leaks were confirmed and we know that Google plans to launch the Pixel Slate alongside the Pixel 3 series of smartphones and other products, but while the expected date arrives, why not take a look at its features?

MySmartPrice has posted several images of the device in question and released key elements of it. Supposedly it will have a screen with  a 3: 2 aspect ratio  accompanied by a stylus, a couple of cameras and a USB type C port. Apparently the audio Jack port will be omitted, which has already made several Internet users raise their eyebrows .

Although it does not go into technical details, it is speculated that it will feature an ARM mobile processor or a low-power CPU from Intel. In turn,  the operating system will be Chrome OS  with Google Assistant on board, with a back button and a centralized icon base at the bottom. In case you wonder; yes, it will be compatible with the vast majority of Android apps.

The Google Pixel Slate is supposedly the company’s answer to  Microsoft’s  recently released line of Surface Pro laptops .

The images also show a  detachable keyboard with case , which has circular keys, a dedicated button for Google Assistant, touchpad and 4 pins to dock the Google Pixel Slate. Once the tablet is connected to the keyboard, it can be used as a laptop, and if desired, carried as one (folded).

Finally, a Stylus capacitive pencil is shown, very similar to the one launched with last year’s Pixelbook laptop we have to add.

As mentioned above,  the Pixel Slate tablet will be officially unveiled this October 9 at 11AM in New York  alongside the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, so it won’t take long to find out all its details.
