As you will recall, at the end of May we attended the official presentation in Madrid of the Realme 3 Pro . It was there that we discovered a Smartphone ready to cause an earthquake within the current entry and mid-range phone proposals. The Realme 3 Pro impressed us with its good qualities and the aggressive launch price for Spain . Now its manufacturer has been kind enough to lend us a model so that we can calmly test the performance of the device and in that way tell our experience of using it. To find out what the Realme 3 Pro gives and offers, read on.

Reference 3 Pro for Lindahl says concept premium starting with the packaging. The gray-tone box has an impeccable finish and austere design, where in yellow typography on a gray background only the number 3 stands out. Design

The Realme 3 Pro is a light device, with a plastic body, it has thin frames that favor the view of the screen, which extends throughout the front, since it does not have any buttons in front. On the display, only the drop-type notch area cuts out some space. It weighs just over 170 grams , with dimensions of 156.8 x 74.2 x 8.3 mm .

It has rounded edges and profile , being easy and comfortable to hold. The cover has a very attractive metallic and iridescent effect. In our case we have received the Nitro Blue color variant ; there is another version with a darker tone, Lightning Purple . The fingerprint reader is located on the back, centered and close to the upper edge; and the double camera, framed in a protruding tablet at the top glued to the left side.

The mobile has only three side buttons : two on the left side (volume) and one on the right (power). At the bottom are the USB connector and the headphone jack . On the left side there is also the slot for the cards .

We have tested the capacity of the terminal by passing the AnTuTu test . Its score is not to tear the clothes, but both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and its Adreno 616 GPU are positioned in the values ​​that the terminals of its range usually occupy. In use, we have appreciated a truly smooth operation. The performance is more than satisfactory. With the 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage of the model that they have lent us, the Realme 3 Pro is a very solvent smartphone .

Taking into account the cost of the Realme 3 Pro, we started with the preconceived idea of ​​not being able to demand much in this section. It is not that we suspect that they are bad, because with their technical data in hand they are expected to comply. As indeed it is. The dual rear camera (main) is capable of taking good snapshots. And with the help of the AI of its application, the user only has to concentrate on capturing the moment, since the device quite correctly recognizes the type of image to be photographed, thus adjusting the settings so that the photo is optimal. As these images show, they are worth more than a thousand words.

Battery

One of the things that the Realme 3 Pro boasts the most is its extensive 4045 mAh capacity battery . Thanks to it, the device endures like a champion intensive days of use, and even using it in a more normal way, but without restricting the use of applications, it is usual to spend a couple of days without having to recharge .

Operating system and connectivity

Like a wide majority of devices in its range, this Realme uses the Android system to work. The manufacturer, however, has decided to work on version 9 a bit and presents it customized with its so-called ColorOS 6.0, a custom layer with which the Realme 3 Pro works efficiently and presents things in a clean and current way. And what we consider most important: without being excessively intrusive.

The software features improvements in AI , which save battery, for example. In addition, it offers the Hyper Boost function , with which it is possible to accelerate the performance of the device at certain times of maximum load. It is in those cases when Game Boost , System Boost and APP Boost come into play , so that everything flows like silk. Another of its innovations is the so-called Games Space . An option that allows the user to adjust some parameters so that the games perform better and nothing interrupts the fun.

The Realme 3 Pro has the modern security options of fingerprint protection  and face unlock . The latter works very quickly , being a version of the device’s mother brand: Oppo . The terminal is activated almost in a blink when pressing the side unlock button so that it recognizes our face. The fingerprint sensor has also pleased us for its speed of action.

Many standard Apps on the Realme 3 Pro

The connectivity of the phone is compliant, although perhaps it is the one that has one of the largest moles of the device. It does not have a USB type C connection. To charge and communicate the Realme 3 Pro we have to settle for a micro-USB port . At the least you have the consolation of fast charging 20 W technology VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 . A little joy that allows you to have a 50% charge in just 30 minutes . Wireless connections are covered with WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac 2.4 + 5GHz , and   Bluetooth 5.0 . And finally, the standard 3.5 headphone jack is not lacking .
