As planned, Xiaomi has incorporated another terminal to the Redmi  9 series  , we are talking about the new  Redmi  Note 9T 5G, which was presented with the  Redmi 9T  on January 8. As its name implies, it is a 5G mobile, which bets on  MediaTek  as the provider of its  SoC  ( Dimensity  800U). For more information, we invite you to continue reading.

Surely the first thing that will attract the attention of the  Redmi  Note 9T 5G is its rear cover with a circular photographic module, which houses 3 sensors and an LED flash. Here we will not find a fingerprint reader , and it is not on the screen either, so therefore it is on the right side together with the start button. 

The phone packs a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080p FHD + resolution and 450 nit brightness  . Unfortunately, it outlines a common 60Hz refresh rate. On a more positive note, the panel consists of Corning Gorilla Glass  5 protection  , TÜV Rheinland certification and a perforated camera.  

The phone also comes with  a  splash-proof design , as well as dual speakers like the Chinese version. 

Hardware and Features 

The chip in charge of bringing the  Redmi  Note 9T to life is the  MediaTek Dimensity  800U ; a 2.4Ghz octa-core 7nm SOC that is becoming quite popular in the mid-range due to its balanced performance and 5G connectivity. Accompanying the chip we have 4GB of RAM, which is coupled with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage type UFS 2.2. 

To power the set, it has a 5,000mAh battery , which supports fast charging of 18 watts. As an additional incentive, a 22.5W charger is included in the package that will allow you to get the full potential of it. 

In terms of operating system, we are obviously looking at the typical combination of Android 10 with MIUI 12.  

For its part, connectivity options range from  dual-band Wi- Fi to Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC , as well as 5G NSA / SA for mobile networks. 

Moving on to the photographic section, the Xiaomi  Redmi  Note 9T sports a triple camera configuration. The configuration includes a 48MP Quad- Bayer sensor  with f / 1.8 aperture , a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. There is no ultra-wide camera on this model, unlike the   China-exclusive Redmi Note 9 5G.  

In turn, on the front there is a  13MP selfie camera  with f / 2.25 optics . 

Availability and price 

The  Redmi  Note 9T will go on sale at the end of January with 64GB of ROM or 128GB of ROM for a price of 249.90 euros and 269.90 euros , respectively.
