The  Huawei Mate X  has been one of the most innovative smartphones of this 2019. Although it has not left China for now, its premiere in the country of the rising sun has been very successful. The first 5,000 units that were put on sale  sold out in less than half an hour . They say that no one is a prophet in their land, but of course Huawei cannot complain about the support of its compatriots. The screen of the Huawei Mate X is foldable, the first of the company with this feature, and as we expected its repair is not cheap.

The screen of the Huawei Mate X is the most delicate component of the terminal. The folding hinge system, as expected, is not cheap and is the main reason why the cost of the device is so high (around 2,200 euros). And, according to these information,  the repair of the folding screen of the Huawei Mate X costs 7,080 yuan  (more than 910 euros, according to the current exchange rate).

Fortunately, the very high repair cost only applies to the screen, since other components, such as the battery or the camera module are much more affordable, with an approximate price of 35 euros and 90 euros, respectively.

When will the Huawei Mate X arrive in Spain?

For now, we have to settle for the launch of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro , as there is no news about the sale to the public of this first folding smartphone from the Chinese company. It was presented at the end of February 2019 and we do not seem to have any indication that it will hit the market this year.

When you do, and in view of this information, it is worth taking good care of the screen of the device so that we do not have to face the exorbitant cost of its repair.
