Respawn, authors of Titanfall and Star Wars Jedi, are working on a new single-player adventure

The Apex Legends studio speaks of “a unique universe” for this mysterious game.

Respawn Entertainment is working on a new game . And rest assured, it is not a multiplayer title or a battle royale in the vein of its popular Apex Legends: it is an adventure for an unannounced player , and that points out ways. Through social networks, the study of the Titanfall saga and adventures such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order advertises its job offers to participate in the creation of the title.

In fact, they are promoted by Mohammad Alavi , the designer of MW2’s famous “No Russian” mission and creative director of this unannounced game. “We are developing a completely new single-player adventure at Respawn Entertainment,” Alavi comments in his tweet. “We are a small but ambitious team, with a history of big dreams and bigger impacts. Come work with us.”

Respawn’s offerings do not specify the identity of this game, as is usual, but all of them include a short description of the project: “This new single-player game is a designer’s dream playground , with a freedom to innovate that it is only possible thanks to the unique universe that inhabits “. Likewise, the responsibilities of their positions speak of a combat system very typical of the Action RPG genre , in which they already had a triumph with their Star Wars game published in 2019.

We will be very attentive to what the EA studio may announce in the coming years, with many players waiting for a possible Titanfall 3 , and many others (like our partner Chema Mansilla) who are looking forward to a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order . Cal Kestis’ adventure received its next-gen versions last month, and if you never played it, in our Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order review we tell you all about it.
