Samsung surprises us again with the launch of a new device belonging to the A series, which is characterized by its affordability and functions designed for digital natives. Going into the matter, we are talking about the new Samsung Galaxy A30s , a new version of the already known  Galaxy A30 , but with the occasional cut here and there to make it even cheaper. In this opportunity we will know what it has to offer us and we will indicate where the main differences are.

The  Samsung Galaxy A30s  maintains the screen size and design of the original model, that is, a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel in the Infinity-V Display style ( V-  shaped notch ). Also, the in-screen fingerprint reader stays in place.  However, the resolution is reduced to the HD + type, which translates to 1560 x 720 pixels.  
Regarding the design of the rear panel of the terminal, it sports a geometric pattern with a holographic effect available in four new colors: black, white, green and purple. 

Hardware and Features  

Under the hood lies an  Exynos Octa  Core processor, where 2 cores operate at a frequency of 1.8Ghz and six of them at 1.6Ghz. The chipset is backed by 3GB or 4GB of RAM , depending on the buyer’s choice of course. In turn, the internal storage can be 32GB, 64GB or 128GB depending on the variant chosen. It is worth noting that it can be expanded up to 512GB via Micro-SD.   

The generous 4,000mAh battery of the A30 is conserved in the  Samsung Galaxy A30s , giving the device a long autonomy that easily lasts a whole day. Additionally, it has a fast charge of 15 watts.  

The operating system is run by  One UI based on Android 9 Pie ; no news in this regard. 

Cameras 

The triple camera remains on the  Samsung Galaxy A30s , but the resolution of the sensors drops. Going into details, the main camera uses a 25MP sensor (F1.7) and is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor . Finally, it has a 5MP camera to perceive depth of field. 

The front camera is about 16MP and has an F / 2.0 aperture, complemented by photographic functions, such as scene optimization and intelligent error detector. 

Availability and price of the Samsung Galaxy A30s 

Samsung has not confirmed either the launch date or the starting price of the  Samsung Galaxy A30s , nor the markets in which it will be launched, therefore we will stay tuned for announcements and updates from the company.
