Samsung Galaxy Fold 2: The leaks of the look of its screen begin
Samsung has confirmed that the presentation of the new Galaxy Fold 2 is still valid for the second half of the year despite the current circumstances, and obviously it is expected to correct in the new model those aspects that did not finish filtering in the original device. And although for the moment the South Korean company has not shown anything tangible about the new terminal, the popular tipster Ice Universe has shared on Twitter what appears to be a final render of the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 , giving us all an idea of the look that the device will have. device … or at least its screen.
This is what the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 might look like : Samsung Galaxy Fold 2: The leaks of the look of its screen begin
At first glance there doesn’t seem to be anything but a screen and a front camera located questionably on the right side of the device, but a breakdown of the elements lets us understand the possible logic behind the placement of the selfie camera.
If this is the case, then the front camera is actually located right in the center of the right half of the screen. Regardless of whether it is true or not, most users will agree that it looks better than the complex module used in the original Galaxy Fold .
This possible design would allow to increase the useful surface of the screen while reducing the number of components placed on the folding screen. Also, on the back of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 we would see a vertical photographic module in the right half and a secondary screen in the left half.
Possible specifications
Nothing is set in stone yet, but we are looking at a possible folding screen with a 7.59-inch diagonal and a resolution of 2,213 x 1,689 pixels . Additionally, an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate would be used.
It is also rumored that there will be no support for the S Pen due to the glass technology used in the device. On the other hand, what it would have is a larger external screen, 6.23 inches to be precise, which would have a resolution of 2,267 x 819 pixels.
Other previous leaks pointed to a triple camera system made up of 64MP, 16MP and 12MP sensors with optical image stabilization. Finally, there is talk of a battery of at least 4,365mAh, although obviously there is nothing official, so we will have to wait for the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, which is scheduled for August 5 of this year.
