Sea of Thieves takes inspiration from the Olympic Games for its new event: the Games of Plunder

The new Sea of Thieves event kicks off on July 23 with themed challenges.

Following the launch of A Pirate’s Life and the first event of the third season of Sea of Thieves , Rare has announced details of the next event for pirate sandbox. From July 23 to August 16, players will be able to participate in the Games of Plunder , a celebration inspired by the Olympic Games that will offer new daily challenges with which players can win a good sum of gold .

Through its official site, the British study has detailed the activities that players will be able to carry out in the following days and each time they complete any of the challenges they will receive 9,999 gold pieces . In total there will be about 17 challenges , which equates to a total of 169,983 gold pieces . Just because a new challenge is added daily does not mean there is only one day to complete the challenges – they will all be available to complete until August 16, when the “Games” will end.
