Sony is giving relevance to technological events during this season, and it is that only a few months ago we had the opportunity to know new mobile launches at MWC 2019, including a new high-end line under the name of Xperia 1 . Now, new leaks indicate the possible release of Xperia 2 soon .

IFA 2019 will take place from September 6 to 11 in the city of Berlin, Germany, and from Gizlogic we will have the opportunity to say present once again with detailed coverage of all the announcements. Perhaps Sony is one of the companies that has a lot to present, even in the mobile segment after the appearance of two models in development.

Sony Xperia 2 or a “Premium” version?: Sony could present the Xperia 2 during IFA 2019

Sony J8210

Will Sony J8210 be the new Xperia 2?

Basically the leak has appeared in internal documents with the names J8210 and J8010 , while other leaks mention names of internal development SPHINX and HORUS with support for 5G modem, a trend that will be seen regularly from the following season of announcements.

Considering that the current Xperia 1 found in stores had the identification code J8110 , it is not crazy to think that the J8210 is a successor to this new line of high-end smartphones . Now what remains to be determined is whether in the same year Sony will present its continuation, Xperia 2, or whether it will simply be a higher “Premium” version of the current flagship.

Likewise, the document indicates that the J8210 has a screen with a 16: 9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels , although it could simply be a “placeholder” if one thinks that the current Xperia 1 has a noticeably higher resolution. (3840 x 1644 pixels). It is precisely this same relationship that is indicated in the J8010 model.

While waiting for more news about it, there are other rumors and speculations about Sony for the future, including its first phone with a flexible screen (Xperia F?) And with support for 5G. IFA 2019 appears to be the safest bet on when these devices will be announced .
