Tales of Arise is not just combat: this video from the JRPG shows their various side activities
You can fish, camp and cook in Bandai Namco’s new action RPG adventure.
Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Tales of Arise , called “Spirit of Adventure . ” Now that we have a better understanding of the battle system in the game, we have a look at the additional activities, such as fishing and cooking , that have already been present in other titles in the franchise.
Tales of Arise will have a cameo from a previous title in the franchise.In the video, we can notice an evolution of these well-known elements of the saga. Not only will we see animations when executing each of these actions, but by doing them, we will also unlock unique personalities of the team members.
On the other hand, in an interview with Yuzuke Tomizaka , Arise’s producer, he gave an estimate of the total duration of the game. Players can expect a similar extension to Tales of Berseria , the previous title in the series. This 2016 game (2017 for players outside of Japan) exceeds 40 hours of play , according to the How Long to Beat site , with about 70 hours for those looking to complete it 100%.
Like Berseria, Arise will have quite a bit of optional content , outside of the main campaign. Also, and like past installments of the saga, Tomizaka reiterates that anyone can begin their journey through the franchise with this title, without problems of understanding the story. Tales of Arise is set in its own universe , and will have no connections to other games in the franchise. That said, the producer confirmed a cameo from a Tales of from the past in Arise, something the developers have been doing for many years, and it has become quite a tradition among the community.
