In October of each year Google launches a new phone for the Pixel series; Naturally, this year the launch of the Pixel 5 and 5 XL is expected, but the interesting thing is that, eight months in advance, a first rendering of the Google Pixel 5 XL has already been created and it goes without saying that its design has caused a little controversy on the Internet , on the one hand there are the detractors who call it “horrible” and on the other extreme are those who support Google for daring to try something different.

Regardless of your point of view, the Google Pixel 5 XL’s possible design is worth checking out. First of all, it is important to note that it is a render based on a prototype, which was published by Jon Prosser  from the FrontPageTech channel  , who claims to have made the CAD file of one of the prototypes and according to Jon, there are three different designs .  

The first model would have an inverted glass arch in the upper part of the rear cover, where three cameras would be located, the other two designs would be similar to the Google Pixel 4. Also, the Google Pixel 5 XL would repeat the characteristic smooth matte finish with glossy glass for the camera module. 

Another important aspect to highlight is the presence of three cameras , which are incorporated in the glass arch mentioned above. Apparently, the Pixel series will have for the first time a third photographic sensor, probably an ultra-wide angle to complement the whole. 

Unfortunately there are no renders of the front, but according to the source this looks almost identical to the Pixel 4 series but with a thinner top bezel. 

However, it is important to take this first look with a grain of salt and healthy skepticism, as the launch date of the Google Pixel 5 series is still a long way off and many things could change by then, especially when you consider that it is It is a prototype.
