The Huawei Mate 30 Pro takes the crown in the DxOMark review
The newly released Huawei Mate 30 Pro has risen to the top spot in DxOMark’s popular photographic ranking , beating the Galaxy Note 10 Plus by four points in the process and achieving a photography score of 131, the highest on record to date. It is important to note that the terminal has undergone a new evaluation process , which now includes criteria for the ultra-wide-angle camera and night mode.

Going into detail, the Huawei Mate 30 scored 131 in photo mode and 100 in video mode . Likewise, the experts at DxoMark highlight the fact that it obtained the best score to date in the night test, while it did a commendable job in the zoom test, where its performance can only be criticized from 5x magnification (5X zoom ).
On the other hand, the ultra-wide-angle camera was criticized for its relatively narrow field of view, but it was concluded that it is the cost of obtaining the image quality that Huawei achieved in this terminal.
As far as video mode is concerned , the Huawei Mate 30 only lags behind the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, having in favor a fast and precise autofocus , as well as a fairly competent video stabilization. On the other hand, it has against the quality of the HDR and some quantification of the color when shooting indoors.
Finally, we have the selfie camera , which obtained a score of 97 in photo and 88 in video . This is placed in the top 5 of DxOMark , but it is still ahead of the Huawei P30 Pro and Google Pixel 3 in this area. Analysts praised the new time-of-flight sensor, which contributes significantly to the blur effect, but in contrast they criticized the lack of autofocus, limited video resolution (1080p) and weak stabilization.
