The Huawei Mate 40 could hit stores in 2021
A new leak from one of Twitter’s most reputable leakers , Evan Blass , claims that the Chinese company’s new flagship, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro , could land in stores next year. This would be a significant delay with respect to its traditional roadmap, which, historically, has chosen October as the date of going on the market.
Why could the Huawei Mate 40 be delayed?
The key appears to be in the production of Kirin chips , which could be much smaller than what the company would need for a global launch this fall. In fact, some rumors suggest that Huawei’s new flagship could appear in the first instance in China, its market of origin, to do so a few months later in the rest of the continents.
This information has emerged from this tweet by Evan Blass:
However, this is not to say that Huawei’s phone is not ready to take the stage. It is possible that the Huawei Mate 40 will be presented in the next few weeks , but without a planned launch date, for now, which would delay us until 2021.
Be that as it may, the IFA event is usually used to announce its presentation date, something that this year has not happened.
