As many will know,  Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2 presentation  was accompanied by several interesting devices, including the Huawei MatePad 11, the first smart tablet with such an operating system on board.  

However, at the time of its presentation the availability of it in Spain was not immediately confirmed, but as we said at the time, it was only a matter of time … and it seems that time has proved us right; given that the company has just announced the start of its pre-sale, which will be valid until next July 11 with a price tag of 499 euros. 

Huawei MatePad 11: The Huawei MatePad 11 arrives in Spain, the first tablet with HarmonyOS 2

The Huawei MatePad 11 is a tablet characterized by its 10.95-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and an impressive refresh rate of 120Hz ; but this is not all, since it supports the DCI-P3 color gamut, it is TUV Rheinland certified and Flicker Free technology to reduce eyestrain.  

It is also compatible with the second generation Huawei M-Pencil and with a cover with keyboard and mouse that will allow us to use the tablet as if it were a notebook. The sound is not far behind and comes from the hand of quadruple speakers Harman Kardon brand , not to mention the presence of four noise-canceling microphones for calls. 

Under the hood it has Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 865 chip , which is accompanied by 6GB of RAM along with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. As a power source we find a 7,250mAh battery that promises 12 hours of duration, and that is with video playback. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.  

In the photographic department, the Huawei MatePad 11 has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.  

HarmonyOS 2.0 

As we mentioned before, it is one of the first devices to have Huawei’s new  HarmonyOS 2 , which includes functions designed to get the most out of this class of devices.  

As an example we have the Collaboration and Mirror mode. The first allows users to transfer different content such as text, images and documents between connected devices with a simple drag and drop; meanwhile, the mirror mode serves to project the PC screen onto the Tablet or vice versa.  

Availability and price 

It is available in the  HUAWEI Store  and  official  HUAWEI stores with a RRP of € 499 in the 6GB + 128 GB configuration. It is currently in pre-sale, which will end on July 11 and includes the M-Pencil 2 at no additional cost along with a keyboard sleeve.
