Officially presented in February this year, the Samsung Galaxy Z  Flip  made its impression on the market, positioning itself as a premium (and quite premium) folding mobile. However, for months we asked ourselves the question: When will it be available in Spain? Well, we are pleased to finally be able to give an answer to this question. The company has confirmed the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z  Flip  5G in Spain on August 13 , and we must anticipate that it comes with a sale price of 1,550 euros.

If you are already familiar with the original device, then there will be nothing new to know about in this version, with the exception of the presence of the Snapdragon 865 Plus chip and 5G connectivity . 

In this sense, the terminal is characterized by its cover design, which when unfolded reveals a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution  joined by a hinge . It is worth mentioning that it has a peculiar 21.9: 9 format and an  embedded selfie camera  . 

Also, on the back is a small 1.1-inch secondary panel with a resolution of 300 x 112 pixels. The function of this is nothing more than to show notifications. 

Beneath the innovative design lies hardware that lives up to Samsung’s vision, a Snapdragon 865+ chip that adds 5G to the device, as mentioned above. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage , this being the only combination available at the moment in Spain. 

To power the terminal there is a 3,300mAh battery compatible with fast charging of 15 watts and also with wireless charging, whose power is 9 watts. 

In the photographic department, it has a 12MP main (rear) camera backed by a secondary sensor of the same resolution , but wide-angle with f / 2.2 aperture and a 123 ° field of view. For its part, the selfie camera   has a resolution of only 10MP. 

Needless to say, the operating system is  One  UI 2.0 based on Android 10. 

Availability and price

The Samsung Galaxy Z  Flip  5G arrives in Spain in only one memory option, but in two striking color presentations: gray and mystical bronze. The starting price is 1,550 euros, although at the moment  it is only available through the official Samsung website . You can also buy the 4G version for 1,500 euros, but we already knew that.
