As it turns out and happens that the suspicions have been confirmed, since the company has responded to comments on the subject through a statement on its official weibo account. The reason? Xiaomi has expressed that the decision not to include a charger in the packaging is in response to the call of technology and environmental protection, in other words, for ecological reasons. 

This is not the first time – and probably not the last time – that a smartphone manufacturer has chosen to ship its devices without a charger. Apple did it with the iPhone 12 recently and it caused a bad reaction in some users, so we can expect a similar reaction. 

On this occasion, Xiaomi appeals to environmental protection, and adds that today everyone has chargers left over from previous terminals. While the latter is debatable, the company may have some plan to compensate for the absence of a charger with the purchase of the Xiaomi Mi 11, but we will not know for sure until the day of its presentation.
