Tips to sterilize your mobile in times of pandemic
The mobile phone is an extension of ourselves. You’d be surprised how many times you pick it up each day, touch it with your hands, and then bring it to your face. Or, even if you don’t use headphones, you put it next to your mouth when you receive a call, giving it direct access to all the bacteria that might be on it. Disinfecting and sterilizing the mobile is one of the basic gestures that we should do every day to try to avoid the spread of viruses and infections.

The first thing to keep in mind is that these tips do not apply to covers, so if you wear one (be it plastic, leather, leather …) you should clean it too, but with a different method.
When it comes to sterilizing the mobile, we have to disconnect it from any external power source and turn it off . We hold a few minutes, so that it cools down and we begin the process removing, as we have commented, any type of covers or accessories.
With an alcohol wipe or with a soft cloth and a small amount of 75% medical alcohol we clean all areas of the phone, including the front, back and edges. You should not pass the product through the ports, the flash or the slots, or use other types of products, such as detergents or bleach.
The cloth should be soft and lint-free so that it does not scratch or leave marks. Never put alcohol directly on the phone or bring it near a fire right after cleaning it, as it is flammable. Also do not do it with the phone on or hot. If you do not have wipes and you use medical alcohol, you should spray very little, just enough so that the cloth is wet but the drops are not visible.
Repeat every day if you are in confinement or every time you return home from the street, if you have gone out to buy or have had to go to work.
From Gizlogic we join the #YoMeQuedoEnCasa movement and we ask you to do it too.
