The  veterinary technical assistant (ATV) course trains you to collaborate directly with the veterinarian in offering excellent service and treatment both to the animals and their owners, and to maximize the time and quality of their service.

The main objective of the course is to train students in veterinary assistance techniques , acquiring the following knowledge:

• Support to the veterinarian in surgical interventions.
• Pre and post operative assistance.
• Performing the most common diagnostic procedures (blood, urine, etc.)

• Know the basic characteristics for the care of pets, as well as the main health care and social behavior in the animal world.
