A few months ago we reported on the launch of the vivo V21 and vivo V21 5G in the Asian market, but at that time we had no way to confirm its arrival in other regions, although our instincts told us that it was only a matter of time.  

It seems that time has proved us right, as vivo today announces the launch in Spain (and Europe) of the vivo V21 5G; a mid-range terminal that stands out mainly for its 44MP selfie camera with optical image stabilization. 

Vivo V21 5G What’s so special about it? : Vivo V21 5G, a very photogenic 5G mid-range arrives in Spain

Well, we can start by saying that it outlines a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD resolution and 90Hz refresh rate . This screen is home to a selfie camera with 44MP resolution, which is complemented by optical image stabilization, a system of intelligent front flashes and a spectacular night portrait mode with AI.  

The result is an above-average front camera, capable of shooting 4K video steadily and regardless of the limitations of surrounding lighting. 

In another vein, inside the vivo V21 5G lies a powerful Dimensity MediaTek 800U chip with 5G capabilities and 7nm lithography. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage type UFS 2.2. 

For its part, the battery that powers the terminal has a conventional capacity of 4,000mAh , but it makes up for it with a 33W fast charge capable of restoring 63% of the charge in just 30 minutes. 

The operating system of turn is Android 11 , but the interface is provided by the custom interface of vivo, Funtouch OS 11.1. 

Finally, the main camera – and by main we mean rear – consists of 3 sensors. The first is a 64MP one and to our surprise, it is also endowed with optical image stabilization. The second is an 8MP wide-angle lens with f / 2.2 aperture, while the third is a 2MP macro type (f / 2.0). 

Availability and price 

The vivo V21 5G smartphone will be available in Spain from June 21 at a suggested price of € 399 and in two colors.
