Although we started seeing them last year,  retractable or pop-up cameras  are becoming more popular in 2019. Almost all manufacturers are trying to put some option on the table for the user. One of those that had not yet appeared in that scene is Huawei, from whom the first images of the Huawei P Smart Z that works with this system have now been leaked  .

Keep in mind that all this information is based on  hearsay , so the end result may be different.

The most interesting, obviously, is that retractable camera system  that makes the front camera a separate piece from the body of the smartphone itself. This helps us to take better advantage of the display and have a true  all-screen by eliminating this element from the front panel. This camera would have two sensors,  16 MP f / 1.8 and 2 MP f / 2.4. 

But, in addition, there are other  features  that have already been leaked from this model. We expect a  6.6-inch IPS screen with Full HD + resolution and 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. The operations brain would be in charge of the Kirin 710  processor of the house (the same one we have in the Huawei P30 Lite ),  4 GB of RAM  and 64 GB of internal storage , which we can also expand via microSD.

The chosen software, of course, would once again be  Android Pie along with Huawei’s customization layer,  EMUI . All this would be powered by a  4,000 mAh battery that would incorporate fast charging, of which no more data has transpired but that could be 18W.

Availability and price of the Huawei P Smart Z

At the moment we do not have on the table the  presentation date of the Huawei P Smart Z , although it is expected for this second quarter of the year. As for its price, it  would be around 200 euros , a very manageable budget considering that it would be a fairly well balanced mid-range and with one of the great innovations on the market.
