Therefore, the type of dance  you choose will mainly determine the muscles that you work the most.

  • To work your upper body, opt for hip-hop, oriental dance, or ballet;
  • To work the lower body, focus more on ballroom dancing like rock, or zouk;
  • And to work the whole body, capoeira or tango will be the ideal dances for you.

All this  combined with a varied and balanced diet will allow you to lose weight and tone up in a much more effective way.
