In addition to these essential elements, there are countless monuments to see: the Bridge of Sighs, the municipal museums (glass museum, natural history museum), the Rialto bridge, the La Fenice theater, the Accademia Gallery, the neighborhoods de Cannaregio, San Marco, Castello, Dorsoduro and Santa Croce, among others.

So when is it recommended to travel to Venice ?

Venice in summer is characterized by a humid and warm continental climate. There is a lot of humidity and the temperature is usually above 35 ° C. Sometimes, at the end of the day, there are sometimes violent thunderstorms.
Summer is the peak season par excellence and therefore prices are higher.
If you can come in the fall, the weather is generally more pleasant: the sun is shining bright and the days stay warm until early October.

Therefore, it is better to come to Venice in spring, between May and June, and in autumn!
To explore the essentials of the city, you will need at least 3 days and, in the best of cases, a week. You will need all this time to see the monuments, the districts, the islands of the Venetian lagoon and the Grand Canal.
