Where can I receive free Spanish classes?

Once again, it is impossible for us to make an exhaustive list of all the associations or organizations that offer free Spanish classes , so here we show a small selection:

• ASILIM (Association for the Linguistic Integration of Immigrant in Madrid): an association formed by teachers specialized in teaching ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language), qualified and experienced. They offer different types of language courses depending on the needs and expectations of the students.

• The tobacco company also offers free Spanish classes in the mornings and afternoons. Also located in the Lavapiés neighborhood, it offers different levels of training and makes level tests available to students so that they can start in the course that suits them best.

• The Manuel Sacristán Adult Training Center has a wide training offer, among which we find Spanish Language courses aimed at those over 18 years of age who want to learn or improve their command of the language. They are divided into three levels of difficulty that correspond, respectively, to levels A1, A2 and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

• The Francesc Layret Adult Training Center offers an initial Spanish course and a basic Spanish course for adults of different ages, with a varied linguistic and cultural background and a very diverse educational background.

When we want to learn a foreign language, we ask ourselves many questions: can I learn by myself or will I need a teacher? Will I have to spend a lot of money or will I be able to learn for free? Will I end up getting discouraged and leaving my learning half done?
