Xiaomi Mi 10S and Redmi K40 are listed on TENAA
The pace of Xiaomi phone launches is usually constant throughout the year and apparently in the coming weeks it would be the turn of three new models. At least that is how it has been known in recent days, because in the Chinese certification body TENAA the possible Redmi K40, K40 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10S have been listed .
Although it is not yet possible to be sure that these will be the commercial names of these terminals, the M2012J2SC, M2012K11AC and M2012K11C smartphones have already passed through the certification tests . The documents not only show images of its design but also some of its most relevant technical specifications
Possible features of Xiaomi Mi 10S and Redmi K40: Xiaomi Mi 10S and Redmi K40 are listed on TENAA
In the case of a new variant of the 2020 high-end phone (something that surprises when the Xiaomi Mi 11 has already been released at the end of December), the technical details include dimensions of 162.6 x 74.8 x 8.96 mm, screen presence of 6.67 inches, Snapdragon 870 processor inside, 4680 capacity battery with 33W fast charge support and Android 11 operating system ex factory.
For the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro phones, a design that is identical as well as the size of their panels is expected , so the figures registered in TENAA indicate for both 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8 mm and 6.67-inch panel that possibly are of AMOLED type with native resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The Android 11 operating system will also be maintained from the beginning and a 4420 mAh battery with fast recharge at 33W, so the expected changes are in the processor model as well as in the camera configuration. It is believed that the K40 Pro model will up the ante up to the new Snapdragon 888 chipset but sadly the document does not mention this component.
As usual, these kinds of leaks from TENAA mean an announcement that shouldn’t take more than weeks to materialize . If you are thinking of renewing your mid-range terminal, it may be a good time to wait for what these next phones have to offer.
