Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10 Lite, Xiaomi’s new 5G flagships
Xiaomi has unveiled a powerful trio of flagships that bring the benefits of 5G and also a high refresh rate display and AdaptativeSync to the masses. We are talking, of course, about the Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10 Lite , which are designed to meet the needs of streaming and gaming enthusiasts and professionals.
This trio of terminals share the same design and many key features, but it differs on a photographic level (with the Mi 10T Pro being at the forefront) and in the SOC department, although no matter which one we choose, we will have a guaranteed first-class experience. Without further ado, it’s time to meet them.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro: Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10 Lite, Xiaomi’s new 5G flagships
We will start with the older brother, because all are sculpted based on it and the differences are mostly inside. In terms of design, the Mi 10T series has size dimensions of 165.1 x 76.4 x 9.33mm with a weight of 216 grams (218g on the Pro).
This device has a module in its back that houses three cameras, the flash and an environmental sensor, in addition to this, it does not have a matte finish as in previous terminals of the company. In case you’re wondering, the fingerprint reader has been moved to the right side.
The screen will be the same in each terminal, even in the Mi 10T Lite. In this sense, it is a 6.67-inch panel with FullHD + resolution and 144hz refresh , the frequency can vary between: 30, 48, 50, 60, 90, 120 and 144hz, this will depend on the use and will aim to save battery, here is the purpose of the AdaptativeSync technology. For its part, the front camera is located in a small notch in the upper left part of the panel.
Xiaomi claims that the total brightness that the screen can reach is up to 650 NITS, in turn having HDR10 and TÜV Rheiland certification. Additionally, the panel has 2 environmental sensors (one on the back and one on the front).
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will be available in three colors: White, gray and black (According to the markets).
Hardware and Features
This magnificent smartphone has a Qualcomm brand Snapdragon 865 processor and a 5G modem in all models. The Mi 10T Pro backs its chip with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM , but there is a version with 128GB of storage and another with 256GB of storage to choose from.
This whole set is powered by a powerful 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging of up to 33W through its USB Type-C port.
The operating system could not be other than Android 10 and it comes with the addition of MIUI 12 as a user interface. In terms of connectivity, the Mi 10T series has 5G, 4 × 4 MIMO, wifi 6 NFC, IR and Bluetooth 5.0
Cameras
On a photographic level, the Mi 10T Pro stands out for the inclusion of a 108MP main sensor with Super Pixel 4-1 technology and optical image stabilization; it is supported by a 13MP wide angle with 123 ° field of view and a 5MP macro camera.
The set is capable of filming video in 8K at 30FPS and as mentioned above, it consists of OIS, as well as long exposure photo mode and night mode powered by artificial intelligence. Finally, the front camera is 20MP and consists of a 5P lens with f / 2.2 aperture
Xiaomi Mi 10T
The Xiaomi Mi 10T is a carbon copy of its brother on the outside, but inside there are differences in the processor and the rear camera sensors.
Going into details, the Mi 10T consists of the same 6.67-inch screen with a 144Hz rate and Full HD + resolution , and the same can be said of the Snapdragon 865 chip with 5G connectivity and the 5,000mAh battery, but this time the memory options They range from 6GB of RAM + 128GB of ROM to 8GB + 128GB.
The cameras are another big difference, since the main sensor drops its resolution to 64MP, but still retains the 13MP ultra-wide angle and the 5MP macro camera.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite
The Mi 10 Lite is proposed as a more affordable option that sacrifices a bit of performance in favor of economy, but without sacrificing 5G or a high refresh rate. In this sense, from the beginning, its design is different from that of its older brothers, specifically in the shape of the rear photographic module, which now looks square and is located in the center.
In addition to lowering the refresh rate to 120Hz , the Mi 10 Lite moves its perforation to the central part of the screen, where it houses a 16MP selfie sensor instead of 20MP.
At the hardware level, the Mi 10 Lite bets on the Snapdragon 750G , which is also capable of offering 5G. It is accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via Micro-SD. In addition, the battery lowers its capacity a bit to 4,820mAh, but leaving the 33W fast charge intact.
In the photographic field we have the main sensor of the Mi 10T with a 64MP resolution , but followed by an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
