Xiaomi Redmi K40 is listed with 5G connectivity and fast charging at 33W
It is no surprise that Xiaomi fills its catalog every year with constant releases and that it does not even wait more than a semester to launch a new generation of devices to replace the previous ones. For example, in the coming weeks new “Premium” mid-range models could be announced under the name Xiaomi Redmi K40 .
Xiaomi Redmi K40 has been leaked in recent days after it has been listed on the 3CC platform to later get a certification on the MIIT platform in its country of origin. From this they have been able to know some details about the specifications of the phone, including its mobile connectivity (something that encourages speculation about its processor model) and support for fast charging technology.
First leaks about Xiaomi Redmi K40: Xiaomi Redmi K40 is listed with 5G connectivity and fast charging at 33W
Xiaomi M2006J10C is the internal name by which this model is known at the moment and it is already known that it will have support for 5G connectivity, so it is expected that it will include some of the latest Qualcomm processors on the market. Some indicated that it would have a new model called Snapdragon 775 , although last week it was not presented as speculated and the Snapdragon 690 did .
On the other hand, it is known that the Smartphone would arrive with the MDY-11-EX charger of the Chinese brand, which has a support for fast charging of 33W , that is, the same that could already be seen in the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro. Speculation indicates that this new generation would also offer a K40 Pro version that would improve the battery charging capacity, while the standard version would remain at current levels.
At the moment there is not much else to report on what to expect from the Xiaomi Redmi K40 , beyond that it will remain in the mid-range “Premium” of the market. As usual in this Chinese manufacturer, the technical details will be known as its presentation approaches in the coming weeks.
