Barney Stinson already said it in the series How I Met Your Mother: this dead man is very much alive. Perhaps he was referring to  HTC , the protagonist of a story with a rather bittersweet ending. In its day, when smartphones were born, HTC was one of the leaders, but little by little it was being displaced in a market in which Samsung and Apple ate the toast. The launches of new HTC models are practically anecdotal, so seeing a premiere is a rare sight. This is the case of the  HTC Desire 20 Pro , which has just landed on the Spanish market for a price that places it directly in the mid-range.

Without making much noise and without wanting to show off what it does not have, the HTC Desire 20 Pro arrives with a  6.5-inch Full HD + screen and a  Snapdragon 665  at the command of performance. It shares positions with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage  that, in any case, can be expanded via microSD.

Regarding the cameras, HTC has been able to interpret the needs of the current market well and has equipped this new device with a  quadruple rear camera composed of the following sensors: 48 MP f / 1.8 + 8 MP f / 2.2 + 2 MP f / 2.4 + 2 MP f / 2.4. For its part, a single (but sufficient) 25 MP f / 2.0 lens remains on the front  .

Its mammoth 5,000 mAh battery deserves special mention  . Worse taste in the mouth leaves us that it  does not have 5G , but, in any case and taking into account that it is a mid-range, it is a detail that we already assumed that HTC would have been left in the pipeline. Finally, note that the operating system included is  Android 10 .
