In March of this year, ZTE announced the launch of the Axon  11, a mid-range-premium mobile that stands out mainly for its 5G capacity and affordable price  , and this June the company just quietly announced   the  existence  of a new 4G version. In this sense, we are  talking about  the new ZTE  Axon  11 4G, which changes much more than the network standard, since it discards the Snapdragon 765G chip in favor of the  MediaTek  Helio P70 , which is less powerful, but  cheaper . 

ZTE  Axon  11 4G 

ZTE has not made much of a stir with this terminal, since in theory it is only a 4G version of an existing smartphone. In this sense, the mobile maintains the same design and 6.47-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and notch in the shape of a drop of water seen in the original version. However, the replacement of the SOC brings with it several implications that come down to this category device. 

Going  into detail, the ZTE  Axon  11 4G not only lacks 5G, but it will also not support the same  amounts  of RAM and internal storage as the original version . The company has limited itself to silently listing it on its  website and has not taken the time to confirm the memory configurations in which it will be available. Also, the reduction in processing power implies that the Axon  11 4G will not reach 90hz in the refresh rate of its screen. 

For its part, the 4,000mAh battery remains, but obviously it will lose Qualcomm’s fast charge, since we are talking about a MediaTek chip  . The  other  will fast charge  MediaTek  or is not a mystery yet. 

Lastly, the 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad camera remains unchanged, and the same can be said for the  artificial intelligence- assisted  20MP  selfie camera  . 

Other notable features that are repeated in the Axon 11 4G are: the Android 10 operating system along with the custom MiFavor  10 interface , the  speakers  with DTS sound and the NFC connectivity . 

Availability and price 

Unfortunately, ZTE has not confirmed the price, release date or the memory configurations in which the ZTE Axon  11 4G will be available  , so we will have to wait a bit for this information.
