The launch in China of the second generation of ZTE phones with an under-screen camera is already official, we are talking about the new ZTE Axon 30 5G , which, although it has many attractions, is surprising from the outset because of its elegant and functional design; which is free of apparent notches or perforations for the selfie camera. As is logical to think, there are things that remain from the already old generation and others that give an obvious leap in quality of which we will talk to you below. 

ZTE Axon 30 5G, a device that stands out for its under-screen camera 

Once the presentation of the ZTE Axon 30 5G is done, it is time to talk about its screen, which this case translates into the jewel in the crown. In technical terms, two screens make up this mobile. The main one is a 6.92-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate . The secondary screen shows off with 400 dpi pixel density and covers the cutout of the main one that houses the selfie camera, effectively hiding it so as not to sacrifice elegance. 

The connectivity is maintained in the 5G, but not its processor. The new device has a brand new Snapdragon 870G which provides greater power and graphics capacity. As for storage, it reaches a maximum of 256 GB and 12 GB of RAM, which complement the virtues of this innovative Smartphone. 

Regarding the battery of the new ZTE Axon 30 5G, it provides a not inconsiderable 4,200 mAh and a fast charge of 55W. 

With regard to cameras we know that when it comes to telephones these are not a minor detail; here users always expect improvements over predecessor models and that is precisely what ZTE has done. There is a notable improvement in the density of the secondary screen, which has been provided with greater clarity, this is important since we remember that it hides a camera under the surface. 

A quad rear camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor is complemented by the 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, another 5MP macro camera, and an additional 2-megapixel sensor whose mission is to help in depth. Regarding the front camera located under the panel, it is a 16 megapixel sensor. 

Availability and price 

The device is almost ready to be marketed in China and the international version is expected to be available in the first week of August. As for the starting price, it ranges between 290 for the basic version (6GB + 128GB) and 400 for the most advanced (12GB + 256GB). With that said, the global version will soon be coming to the  official ZTE website .
