The future of the internet

You will remember this article in a while when this is a reality.

It was 1997 and Steve Jobs preceded the iconic World Wide Developers Conference, a moment in technological history.

There Jobs did it again, he gave birth to THE CLOUD , 22 years before the term technology was even thought of Today it is very common, especially after DropBox popularized the market 10 years ago.

The future is in the clouds: The future of the internet

Thanks to this innovation, the future of the internet will be marked by a trend towards devices with reduced solid-state storage, integrated equipment and without the need for mega features.

You will tell me, Vil Loco! not true, there are programs that require a lot of storage. Apps require more and more resources from our devices.

What’s more, how can I tell you this if the Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X have just been released (destined for oblivion, they don’t solve anything)

Well, MY ANSWER is the following:

Adobe will soon stop renting installers and will soon focus on subscriptions on demand, so you can use Photoshop as if you were subscribed to Netflix. WHAT DOES THAT SOUND?

Microsoft already does it, Autodesk that develops software for 3D animated renders ALREADY WORKS THIS WAY why not Adobe?

Proof that you will require less memory every time, the interface of the program or the App is the only thing that will be transmitted, all the processing will be remote.

Cloud Gaming: The future of the internet

In case the previous section does not convince you, let’s not forget that video game consoles already have an EXPIRY DATE; I say it for this and hundreds of other sources:

Think about it for a moment, it is the most logical move: The big developers will massively expand the market making it more accessible to almost any budget.

Advantages of the cloud

We have already seen where this technology emerged as well as some evidence that this is how the future of the internet will be and the advantages of this are clear:

For the user it would represent zero updates, zero compatibility failures and of course, zero loss of files because everything is in the cloud, true as-a-subscription software , at its best.

It has been facilitating our existence for many years and although for thousands it is not something known, for all companies it is an essential service.

You cannot aspire to a job in a company if you don’t know how to use a cloud. (By the way if you are looking for a job I leave you some tips in this link, click it.)

Cloud uses

It works as follows: You are at your work and you log in to your browser, you don’t need to have anything installed: Word, Excel and Power Point are in your online office catalog on demand.

You work without saving anything, all changes are recorded in real time. Share progress? You copy link and share it from your browser in real time.

It’s time to go home; you simply close your browser and voila, on the way you enter from your mobile, open the document and continue editing it as you left it.

Everything has a positive impact on your daily life: Less effort, cheaper mobile phones and equipment, greater productivity, safety and above all, free time.

Software as a subscription

As a final conclusion we could say that it will soon be unnecessary to install ANYTHING, the devices will be completely web, focused on minimalism, design and connectivity, they will only serve as INTERFACE.

Enclosed, fully integrated hardware so you can connect to your favorite apps without any time-consuming setup.

We will only have to worry about the design and the connectivity that they provide us. Apple is you? Futuristic? I leave to your judgment…
